Vladimir Guerrero Jr. checked out fine after leaving the New Hampshire Fisher Cats' game Wednesday with a leg injury, manager John Schneider told Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun, and the 19-year-old uber-prospect will likely sit out only a game or two.

In the bottom of the fourth inning Wednesday, Guerrero Jr. - who injured his left leg Saturday when he stepped awkwardly on first base - pulled up lame while beating out an infield single, and appeared to aggravate the issue moments later when he slid into second base on Cavan Biggio's single. Guerrero Jr. immediately signaled to the dugout and was promptly lifted for a pinch runner.

Guerrero Jr., the game's consensus top prospect, had gone 2-for-2 before exiting.
