The officiating of this year's NBA Finals - from the dramatic charge/block call involving Kevin Durant and LeBron James in Game 1, to a no-call involving Stephen Curry tripping up James in Game 2 - has been one of the major talking points among basketball fans on social media.

With Game 3 going down on Wednesday night between the Cleveland Cavaliers and visiting Golden State Warriors, the official National Basketball Referees Association Twitter account will be throwing itself right in the line of fire by live-tweeting the action and interacting with followers.

A team of officials will be responding to questions and concerns, although their names will not be released.

This decision could ultimately blow up in their face, though. With the seemingly inconsistent officiating on both sides throughout the opening two games, the moment the whistle starts bothering the vast majority of viewers in Game 3, the backlash toward the account could be staggering.
