A pair of Converse sneakers worn by Michael Jordan during Team USA's gold-medal run at the 1984 Olympics fetched $88,644 at an auction.

The shoes, which were auctioned off by SCP Auctions, feature Jordan's signature on the side and are one of two known pairs worn by him during the tournament.

This actually appears to be the same pair that was auctioned off by SCP Auctions in June for $190,373 - a record price for a pair of game-used sneakers. The previous record was $104,765, which someone paid for the Air Jordan 12s that Jordan wore in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals, also known as the "Flu Game."
