Seven-figure bets being placed on Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas

We're officially in crunch time for Saturday's fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, and the big dogs have come out to play.

Multiple bets upward of $1 million were placed on Mayweather in Las Vegas on Thursday, according to David Purdum of ESPN.

MGM sportsbook took a bet from a VIP guest at -550 odds, potentially netting the winner just $182,000.

William Hill's Nevada sportsbook received $1.2 million in cash at -500 odds

The aggressive wagers have pushed Mayweather's odds up above -600, after briefly dipping below -500 last week.

Mayweather said earlier in the week he'd be betting 'heavy' on himself. He should hope to have gotten the odds at their least favorable.
