One fan took drastic measures to rid the Atlanta Falcons of the bad luck that caused them to become the first team in NFL history to blow a 25-point lead in the Super Bowl.
According to Twitter user @SouthernbeLLSU, her friend buried the jersey he was wearing during Sunday's dramatic loss to the New England Patriots, along with a note:
The message reads:
If you have unearthed this, you have not found anything vintage or cool. This shirt is bad luck ... seriously re-bury it immediately.
If you are still curious and don't believe me, Google Super Bowl 51. This shirt blew a 25-point lead.
Put it back trust me!
