VIDEO: JaVale McGee ends up in front row, kisses a fan

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

JaVale McGee is still shaking off the rust after losing most of the 2013-14 season to a broken leg. It's a slow, sometimes frustrating process, and his defense has yet to round into form.

Luckily for Denver Nuggets fans, McGee's personality has returned in short order, and the jovial center is already bringing the antics, as he's wont to do.

McGee found himself in the first row of the stands after hustling for a loose ball at home on Friday. As the play went the other way, McGee left his team shorthanded in order to make sure the fan he landed next to was all right. And to plant a kiss on her, naturally.

That's pretty much the McGee experience right there: make a nice play, then do something goofy when you could be capitalizing on said play.

It didn't matter Friday, as the Nuggets rolled to a 20-point victory over New Orleans. McGee scored 14 points with eight rebounds in 19 minutes, easily his best performance of the young season.
