Donald Trump confirms intention to bid on Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills will be made available to the highest bidder, and a number of potential owners already emerged since the passing of Ralph Wilson.

One man that's involved himself from the get go is Donald Trump and Tuesday the billionaire developer reiterated that he will be a part of the bidding process.

"We are going to put in a bid," Trump said, via the Buffalo News. "I don't know what's going to happen in Buffalo. If the price isn't the right price, then I won't get it, and I won't be ashamed of it ... But if I get it, I think I'll probably do a good job."

A former owner of the USFL's New Jersey Generals, Trump believes his time with the defunct league brought him respect from NFL owners. Should he present the winning bid, 24 owners would have to approve his addition to their ranks.

Whether Trump intends to put forth a serious bid or is merely stating his interest for the free publicity is certainly up for debate.
