VIDEO: Martin Prado's 'dirt bath' celebration goes mainstream

Baseball celebrations are a weird, wonderful thing.

Gathering around home plate to shower the game-winning run scorer with adulation is as fun a tradition as any, until someone like Martin Prado gets involved.

Prado has popularized the 'dirt bath' celebration.

For the uninitiated, the dirt bath is a two-step process. First Prado grabs a water bottle and douses the back of the neck of the celebrating player. This is where most other players stop and also where things get heinous. With his other hand, Prado grabs a handful of dirt and rubs it into the now-soaking back and neck of his teammate.

As the following video from the Arizona Diamondbacks shows us, Prado's dirt bath has caught on all over the place. Subway sandwich restaurants, business meetings, even the kitchens of unsuspecting families.

It almost looks annoying enough to keep someone from wanting to hit a walk-off in the first place.

And hey, if you feel like ruining your friend's day and/or neck, you could win a bobblehead.
