Mayweather fires back at Rousey: 'She will never be at my status'

The war of words between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ronda Rousey doesn't appear to be slowing down.

A day after Rousey said that when Mayweather "learns to read and write he can text me," and that she earns more than him on a per second basis, the undefeated boxer fired back with a few haymakers of his own.

"Big bank take little bank. Let's play and see how much money you got," Mayweather told TMZ Sports, in regards to Rousey's comparison of her income to his.

"Last time I checked I was No. 1 on Forbes. She will never be at my status. Keep trying to get publicity," Mayweather added.

Mayweather topped Forbes' list at $300 million earned, putting him $140 million ahead of the next closest athlete, Manny Pacquiao, who earned most of his money in a battle with Mayweather back in May.

Rousey, on the other hand, made $6.5 million between June 2014 and June 2015, according to Forbes, with $3 million of that coming from her UFC salary.
