7:11 p.m. ET - Duke's Jahlil Okafor finishes with nine points and eight rebounds. He was the only Duke starter that failed to score in double digits.

7:09 p.m. ET - Duke is the third No. 1 seed to advance to the Final Four. The Blue Devils will take on Michigan State in Indianapolis on Saturday.

7:08 p.m. ET - Since Kyle Wiltjer missed that open layup, Gonzaga has been outscored 13-1.

7:04 p.m. ET - Tyus Jones dribbles the ball out of bounds. The official wants to keep the ball with Duke, but they'll take a look at the monitor. Looks like the right call. Even so, Duke up 10 with 58 seconds remaining. Won't matter much.

7:02 p.m. ET - Przemek Karnowski called for a travel trying to back down Jahlil Okafor. 1:23 to play, Duke ahead by eight. That's Gonzaga's 12th turnover. Duke has two.

7:00 p.m. ET - The officials take their time reviewing on an out-of-bounds play and get the call right. It goes to Gonzaga, who is nearing five minutes without a field goal.

6:55 p.m. ET - Justise Winslow knocks down a long jumper and Duke's lead is back up to nine. It's 60-51 for the Blue Devils. 2:42 to play. Timeout Gonzaga.

6:53 p.m. ET - Those two missed points from Kyle Wiltjer are going to haunt Gonzaga.

6:51 p.m. ET - Justise Winslow earns a second chance opportunity and gets fouled going back up. He'll shoot two after the break. Duke leads 55-51 at the under-4 timeout.

6:49 p.m. ET - Wiltjer with a wide open look under the basket but he missed it. Would have tied the game.

6:37 p.m. ET - Matt Jones knocks down his fourth triple of the game from the corner and Duke's lead is back to six. Duke on a 14-4 run. Timeout Gonzaga.

6:36 p.m. ET - After failing to score on eight consecutive possessions, Gonzaga has now scored on back-to-back possessions. Przemek Karnowski with his first bucket of the night.

6:32 p.m. ET - A brilliant play by Quinn Cook to save the ball from going out of bounds, leaping through the air and throwing the ball off Przemek Karnowski, who was on the ground out of bounds. Jahlil Okafor then promptly hits on a hook shot to extend the lead for the Dukies. It's 43-38 at the under-12 timeout.

6:30 p.m. ET - Duke's Matt Jones knocks down a 3-pointer to end the drought. 7-0 run for the Blue Devils who now lead 41-38. Timeout Gonzaga.

6:28 p.m. ET - Bit of a scoring drought from both sides. Kyle Wiltjer misses on an open three. Still 38-38.

6:24 p.m. ET - Gonzaga's outscored Duke 12-5 to start the second half.

6:22 p.m. ET - Gonzaga ahead 38-36 at the under-16 timeout.

6:21 p.m. ET - Gonzaga's Byron Wesley with a great play from under the basket. Goes up and fights through contact for the deuce, then hits his free throw for the three-point play. The four-point deficit is the largest the Blue Devils have faced in the tournament.

6:19 p.m. ET - Jahlil Okafor gets fouled and earns two free throws. He air-balls the first and misses the second.

6:17 p.m. ET - Matt Jones knocked down a triple from the corner out of the timeout. That puts Duke back in front.

6:14 p.m. ET - The first five points of the half go to Gonzaga and that ties the game, 31-31. Timeout Duke.

6:13 p.m. ET - The second half is underway in Houston. Duke leads 31-26.

6:10 p.m. ET - Duke's Jahlil Okafor filled out his stat line in the first half with seven points, six rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block.

5:47 p.m. ET - Okafor goes at Sabonis looking to force him into his third foul but instead gets called for a charge. That's his second. He'll take a seat. On the ensuing possession, Sabonis gets called for an offensive foul of his own. That's his third. He'll head to the bench as well.

5:46 p.m. ET - Sabonis tries to beat Okafor to a rebound but instead gets called for his second foul. Karnowski already on the bench with two fouls.

5:45 p.m. ET - Jahlil Okafor shows off some of those smooth post moves and scores over Domantas Sabonis. That ends a stretch of over four minutes without a basket for Duke.

5:41 p.m. ET - Kevin Pangos gets into the lane, his shot doesn't fall but Domantas Sabonis puts it in. Duke struggling to score and Gonzaga's cut the Blue Devils' lead down to one entering the under-4 timeout.

5:37 p.m. ET - Gonzaga making a bit of a run. Duke's lead is down to three and that leads to a timeout from Mike Krzyzewski.

5:35 p.m. ET - With Karnowski on the bench, Domantas Sabonis playing well. He's up to five points and three boards.

5:31 p.m. ET - Jahlil Okafor has five points and five rebounds thus far. The Blue Devils haven't really gone to him much in their halfcourt offense.

5:29 p.m. ET - Duke leads 23-17 at the under-8 timeout and will shoot two free throws on the other side of the break.

5:25 p.m. ET - Justise Winslow is back in the game. Good sign for Duke.

5:23 p.m. ET - Jahlil Okafor takes the ball on the block and goes hard at Przemek Karnowski, drawing a foul. Karnowski will take a seat with two fouls.

5:22 p.m. ET - Looks like Winslow rolled his left ankle. He's getting it taped up now.

5:17 p.m. ET - Kyle Wiltjer's been a consistent source of offense for Gonzaga early on. He's 3-of-4 from the field and now gets into the lane and draws a foul. He hits on both of his free throws and is now up to eight points on the evening.

5:14 p.m. ET - So much for those sight lines in Houston. The teams have combined to shoot 62.5 percent from the field early on, including 2-of-2 from beyond the arc.

5:12 p.m. ET - Duke leads 14-8 at the under-16 timeout. Frenetic pace early on.

5:11 p.m. ET - Eight points is the biggest deficit of the tournament for Gonzaga. Kyle Wiltjer answers back with a quick score in the lane.

5:10 p.m. ET - This fast pace really suiting Duke better than Gonzaga. Some careless turnovers from the Bulldogs and the Blue Devils are now on a 9-0 run. Duke leads 14-6.

5:09 p.m. ET - Jahlil Okafor steals and goes the distance on a layup. He moves so well for a big man sometimes.

5:08 p.m. ET - Gonzaga's been pretty deliberate on offense but still a very fast pace being played. 11 points total just over two minutes in.

5:06 p.m. ET - The final Elite Eight matchup is underway in Houston between No. 1 seed Duke and No. 2 seed Gonzaga with the South Region title on the line.

5:03 p.m. ET - The late game between Duke and Gonzaga is scheduled to start on time, which would mean it'll begin in about two minutes.

5:00 p.m. ET - The Cardinals hit on better than half of their shots in the first half. Finished shooting 35.9 percent from the field.

4:58 p.m. ET - Louisville's Wayne Blackshear finishes 4-of-6 from beyond the arc and 12-of-12 from the line.

4:56 p.m. ET - Louisville had won 94 straight games when leading by six or more points at the half. The Cardinals shot 1-of-7 from the field with two turnovers in overtime.

4:54 p.m. ET - Michigan State's Tom Izzo is the first coach in the history of the NCAA tournament to reach three Final Fours as a No. 5 seed or lower.

4:48 p.m. ET - Louisville takes forever to get a shot off, then turns the ball over. Trice to shoot two with a chance to ice it.

4:47 p.m. ET - The Spartans can't hit from three but Branden Dawson grabs the offensive board and puts it in. Michigan State leads by four.

4:46 p.m. ET - Louisville's Wayne Blackshear is 12-of-12 from the line and has a game-high 28 points. Playing with four fouls.

4:45 p.m. ET - Timeout Michigan State with 45 seconds remaining. The Spartans lead 72-70 and have the basketball.

4:44 p.m. ET - Louisville finally starting to make something of its second chance opportunities. This time, Wayne Blackshear will go to the line to shoot two. He hits on both and the Michigan State lead is down to 72-70 with 1:04 to play.

4:43 p.m. ET - Louisville continues to waste second chance opportunities. Mangok Mathiang grabs the offensive board but has it stripped and the Spartans score in transition the other way with a layup from Denzel Valentine. Spartans lead 72-66.

4:42 p.m. ET - Trice hits the first, misses the second, but a lane violation called against Louisville. He gets another crack at it and hits.

4:41 p.m. ET - Travis Trice gets into the lane and gets fouled. He'll shoot two with the Spartans ahead 68-66 and 2:27 remaining.

4:40 p.m. ET - Michigan State grabs the ball off its own miss and tried to reset, not realizing the shot clock hadn't reset. Shot clock violation against the Spartans.

4:38 p.m. ET - Tough break for the Spartans. Gavin Schilling picks up his fifth foul. Matt Costello is already down with five fouls, and that leaves the Spartans very thin up front.

4:38 p.m. ET - Bryn Forbes starts the overtime scoring with a triple. He's 4-of-5 from deep in the game.

4:37 p.m. ET - The overtime session is underway in Syracuse. Spartans control the tip.

4:35 p.m. ET - They're going to overtime with the game tied 65-65. Michigan State outscored Louisville by eight points in the second half.

4:34 p.m. ET - Poor attempt by Trice who jacks the ball up from midcourt with two seconds remaining. It doesn't even hit the rim. Have to think there was a better shot out there.

4:33 p.m. ET - Mathiang's first attempt takes a ridiculous roll on the rim and falls. Game tied.

4:32 p.m. ET - Mathiang to shoot two. He's hit at a 48 percent clip on the year.

4:31 p.m. ET - Michigan State gets the initial stop, forcing Terry Rozier into a bad shot, Montrezl Harrell's tip misses, then Mangok Mathiang grabs an offensive board and gets fouled on the way back up. 4.9 seconds remaining.

4:30 p.m. ET - Blackshear to inbound. Tom Izzo takes a timeout. Michigan State still has another two timeouts remaining.

4:30 p.m. ET - It'll be interesting to see what Rick Pitino calls here. Have to figure they get the ball to Wayne Blackshear, who has put the offense on his back in the second half.

4:29 p.m. ET - Clark misses both. Louisville brings the ball up the court and uses its final timeout. 12 seconds remaining, Michigan State leads 65-64.

4:27 p.m. ET - The officials call a standard foul. Clark will shoot two.

4:26 p.m. ET - Terry Rozier misses a shot in the lane, Spartans grab the board and a hard foul on Mangok Mathiang. The officials will take a look to see if it'll be a flagrant. It shouldn't be, for what that's worth.

4:25 p.m. ET - Marvin Clark Jr. banks one in at the other end from the lane. Spartans lead 65-64.

4:25 p.m. ET - Blackshear hits both of his free throws. He's 10-of-10 from the free throw line and has 26 points. Louisville ahead 64-63.

4:24 p.m. ET - Louisville gets another good stop and Wayne Blackshear gets fouled going to the hole the other way. He'll shoot two.

4:23 p.m. ET - Timeout Michigan State. Spartans lead 63-62.

4:22 p.m. ET - A couple chances for Michigan State at the offensive end but the Spartans can't hit. Louisville goes the other way in transition and the ball finds the trailer Blackshear who knocks down a triple to cut the deficit to one.

4:18 p.m. ET - Louisville takes a timeout to get Blackshear back on the court. Spartans lead 61-58.

4:17 p.m. ET - Wayne Blackshear dealing with a bloody nose and has to come out of the game. A substitute will shoot his free throws for him.

4:15 p.m. ET - Trice knocks down both of his free throws. Wayne Blackshear takes the ball the other way and gets fouled going hard to the basket. He'll shoot two.

4:12 p.m. ET - Travis Trice goes hard to the hole in transition but Wayne Blackshear comes up with a great chase down block. A foul is called. Block looked clean but there may have been some contact on the body. Trice will shoot two on the other side of the under-4 timeout. Spartans lead 59-55.

4:09 p.m. ET - Louisville's Montrezl Harrell is 0-for-5 from the field in the second half.

4:06 p.m. ET - Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo's been on his guys all afternoon and credit to him for getting them focused in this second half.

4:04 p.m. ET - Montrezl Harrell gets fouled and will shoot two on the other side of the break. Spartans ahead 57-51 at the under-8 timeout.

4:03 p.m. ET - Michigan State gets a stop and then knocks down a 3-pointer on the other side of the timeout. Michigan State leads 57-51.

4:02 p.m. ET - Bryn Forbes knocks down a triple to put the Spartans in front. That makes it an 11-2 run for Michigan State, which now leads 54-51. Timeout Louisville.

4:01 p.m. ET - Michigan State comes all the way back and the game is tied 51-51 with nine minutes to play.

3:56 p.m. ET - Louisville whistled for its fifth foul in a span of 1:44.

3:52 p.m. ET - Michigan State's turned the ball over just once thus far in the second half. The team has assists on 15 of its 17 made field goals and Louisville's lead is down to two at the under-12 timeout.

3:46 p.m. ET - Blackshear hits on all of his free throws, but the Spartans go the other way and knock down a three. It's just been that kind of game.

3:44 p.m. ET - Points are at a premium now as the defenses start flexing their muscles, as we expected they would at the start of the game. Bad foul by Gavin Schilling along the perimeter will send Wayne Blackshear to the line to shoot three.

3:39 p.m. ET - The score remains the same at the under-16 timeout. Tom Izzo has to be happy with what he's seen thus far in the second half. Spartans outscoring the Cardinals 7-2.

3:34 p.m. ET - Michigan State starting to get something going thanks to some strong interior passing. The Spartans have 13 assists on 15 made field goals in the game. Louisville leads 42-39. Timeout Cardinals.

3:31 p.m. ET - The first points of the half come from Branden Dawson who gets bumped in the lane and hits on his jumper, plus the foul. He completes the three-point play from the line. The Spartans really need him to get going.

3:29 p.m. ET - The second half is underway in Syracuse. Louisville leads Michigan State 40-32.

3:24 p.m. ET - Montrezl Harrell shot 6-of-7 from the field in the first half for a game-high 12 points, and dished out a career-high matching four assists.

3:21 p.m. ET - Far too early for Spartans supporters to give up on this one. Tom Izzo coached teams have trailed at the half in four Elite Eight games. The Spartans won three of those four games.

3:17 p.m. ET - 20 of Louisville's first 29 points came in the paint.

3:14 p.m. ET - Louisville shot 53.1 percent from the field in the first half. Michigan State shot 42.9 percent.

3:11 p.m. ET - Michigan State turned the ball over seven times in the first half. The Spartans turned the ball over a total of five times in their Sweet Sixteen victory over Oklahoma, and only six times in their Round of 32 win over Virginia.

3:09 p.m. ET - Louisville's Rick Pitino says Michigan State doing such a great job of making shots from deep that there were some shots made that he would have taken his guys off the court for two weeks for attempting. Spartans shot 5-of-12 from three in the first half.

3:08 p.m. ET - Louisville's 40 first-half points equal the most allowed by Michigan State in the first half of a game this season. Duke was the other.

3:05 p.m. ET - Scoring has slowed a fair bit in these closing moments of the half. Louisville leads 38-32 with just over 50 seconds to play before the break. Timeout.

3:01 p.m. ET - There was an issue with the clock prior to the break. The game clock had stopped during play and the officials needed to take 27 seconds off the clock.

2:57 p.m. ET - Louisville ahead 37-32 at the under-4 timeout. Michigan State shooting 48 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from beyond the arc. Cardinals shooting 57.1 percent from the field, including 3-of-3 from beyond the arc.

2:46 p.m. ET - Montrezl Harrell scoring pretty much at will on the inside. He's got 12 of Louisville's first 19 points on 6-of-7 shooting. The lone miss came on a long jumper.

2:41 p.m. ET - Michigan State holding off Louisville thus far despite the Cardinals hitting on 50 percent of their shots from the field. Spartans lead 18-17 nearing the midpoint of the half. Timeout.

2:37 p.m. ET - Michigan State has three turnovers before the game's hit the eight-minute mark. The Spartans had all of five turnovers against Oklahoma.

2:33 p.m. ET - Denzel Valentine spins in the lane and puts in a quick score to give Michigan State the lead back at 12-10. Timeout.

2:16 p.m. ET - For what it's worth, bettors are all over the favored Michigan State Spartans in the early game, with some spots taking in better than three quarters of all tickets coming in on Michigan State.

2:12 p.m. ET - Looking ahead at the later matchup for a moment, the battle of bigs between Duke's Jahlil Okafor and Gonzaga's Przemek Karnowski is going to be fun to watch.
