Rousey would rather be pound-for-pound best than 'sexiest woman alive'

Ronda Rousey: champion, arm-collector, reluctant sex symbol.

Despite being lauded for her looks following appearances in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition and ESPN The Magazine's Body Issue, the UFC women's bantamweight overlord would rather be known as the best fighter on the planet than the sexiest woman alive.

"It makes me feel way better than if someone told me I was pretty," Rousey told HBO's Real Sports, according to MMAFighting.com's Dave Doyle. "If I was voted the sexiest woman alive, it wouldn't make me really happy. There's a sexiest woman alive every year. Once in a blue moon you see a woman on the top of the pound-for-pound list."

According to Rousey, being labeled a sex symbol hasn't done much for her romantic life anyway. If anything, it's been a hindrance.

"I don't really see myself as a sex symbol," Rousey said. "Because ever since some people started calling me a sex symbol, I've had less sex than I've had in my life. It's not really working out for me."
